Hi y’all, so I started my mother two weeks ago with the eaten brown rice, flour, I have followed the directions carefully, but I don’t feel like it’s doing what it needs to. Occasionally, I will see a little bubble or movement, but not very often. Last week I made a batch of waffles, it was week one. They looked beautiful. The taste was a little bit sour, but I kind of expected that, unfortunately, within 10 minutes of eating one, I was sick at my stomach. I tried to do the float test today but it’s just too soupy it’s not like a batter at all. Can anyone offer any help? Am I doing something wrong? I really want to make this work, but I am at the end of the first 5 pounds of flour and I don’t feel like it’s going well.

We haven’t worked with Eden brown rice flour. Their products are usually of excellent quality. Did you buy it in a store or online direct from Eden? Do you see an expiration date on the package? Let’s start with the quality of your flour and go from there. And last, are you gluten free or will another, less challenging flour work for you?
