My refrigerator mother has not been doubling in size on bake day. I have put 1 teaspoon of baking powder in it and that helps it look like a loaf after baking it. The fridge mother was way less active than a thawed out freezer mother that I had in there for a month ! Weird. But I took some of the reactivated freezer mother and put it into my fridge mother(it all being from the same counter mother) and am hoping not to have to use baking powder this weekend. The fridge mother isn't spoiled, so I'd hate to have to start over. So far, the baking powder has helped.
