Hi to all, heres my question. I was told that I could use my Vitamix to make flour. Is this a good way to go or not?

Hi Matthew and welcome. I've never milled flour in a Vitamix (I use an electric WonderMill) but have read that if you use their dry container, you can mill batches of up to 2 cups of grains per minute. I think if you like the way the flour turns out when milled in a Vitamix, and the process seems efficient, then go for it.

Matt,
Do you have the smaller container and blade meant for wheat berry milling? I've used it but I do like how much finer I can grind flour with the MockMill 100. It grinds all the different items I like to bake with: corn, kamut, einkorn, rye and other wheat berries.
Try out your Vitamix as mamy people swear by it.

Bread is like the sun. It rises in the yeast and sets in the waist. Unknown author
